Our Rookie Experience is a FREE three night camp experience for boys currently in 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th grades who are thinking of attending Winaukee the following summer.
Rookie campers will have a chance to experience all that Winaukee has to offer, including our athletics, waterfront, and outdoors programs.
Our Program
Our Rookie Experience provides a perfect introduction to overnight camp for families interested in the experience but not yet ready for a full multi-week program. At the end of the weekend, campers will undoubtedly be begging to stay longer!
Campers will be immersed in our full camp program and feel the Winaukee spirit. Your son will particpate in a full range of activities including high-level sports instruction, swimming and watersports on Lake Winnipesaukee, outdoor activities likes ropes, zip-lining, and archery, and of course experience a classic Wianukee campfire.
Bunk Life
Your son will sleep in a bunk with dedicated counselors and other campers. Most importantly, he will make new friends and get a sense of the independence and self-confidence that come from a quality camp experience.
Transportation
Transportation for our Rookie Experience will be offered to families in the tri-state area. Inquire for more details on how to get your son to and from Camp Winaukee.
Can’t Make It?
Can’t make our Rookie Experience? Join us for a traditional weekend or weekday tour! Upon arrival your son will be whisked off with new friends and Winaukee counselors to enjoy some of our activities while parents meet our Directors and see our campus.
