This is more than just something we say at Winaukee. It means that whether this is a boy’s first or ninth summer, no matter what he has faced throughout the year, he will be swooped up by his brothers; reminding him of his worth and importance. It is a tribute to our over 100 year legacy. It means that the winning shot, and the assist are celebrated equally; and that someone is right next to you, no matter your role or the outcome. Side by side we learn from both successes and failures. Most importantly, it’s a reminder that we’re all in this together.
