Getting Camp Ready for Summer 2025

Pre-camp is in full swing! More and more staff are arriving every day. The pre-camp crew is smaller than the full summer crew, and our job is to get Camp Winaukee ready for Summer 2025 and the arrival of campers. Things are steadily getting checked off the to-do list, the crew is amped, energy is high and growing. In short, we’re crushing it and excited to welcome campers in just a little over a couple weeks! Here’s a brief behind-the-scenes glimpse into the latest happenings around camp:

Evangeline Han

Evangeline grew up in Malaysia and moved to the United States in 2013. After earning her bachelor’s degree in English, she decided to take a break from studying. She sold nearly everything she had, transitioned to online work, and began traveling Asia and Europe. The nomadic life was exhilarating; she loved visiting new places, experiencing different cultures, and learning from the people she met. In between traveling and checking off her bucket list, she earned her master’s degree. She currently lives in Louisiana where she has completed her second year as an English PhD student. Amidst a busy schedule of teaching, writing way too many papers, and reading not enough books, she enjoys going to spin classes, napping, and daydreaming of more travels.
